Re: Major issue at the core

Yeah, I just got a look at the plans for this Death Star. It seems you plan to put a hypermatter core at the very center of the thing. Now I'm not a physicist so I won't pretend to know what a hypermatter core is but it sounds awfully dangerous and it seems I might be correct as you guys plan to surround it with a magnetic shielding system. Does this thing really need to be at the center of a giant space station with millions of citizens and those creepy storm trooper clone things on board? We might want to explore housing it in a separate module that can be ejected to a safe distance.

Re: Railings

Okay, you have gone ahead and started  to build the Death Star. But I couldn't help but notice that you pretty much don't have railings anywhere. And there are some chasms on this thing that just disappear into darkness they are so vast. Please tell me you will eventually install railings!

Re: Artificial gravity

Uh, I just got through with a bit of an inspection, in addition to the continued lack of railings I notice that the Death Star is being built with the inner levels orientated so down is towards the south pole of the station while the outer layers are orientated so down is towards the center of the station's mass. I think this is a needless complication. I'm already on record as disliking artificial gravity because of the risk of lawsuits but having it go in conflicting directions on the same structure is just asking for the medical droid chasing lawyers back on Coruscant to make a killing.

Re:  Doors

Uh, I was almost just decapitated by one of the automatic doors. Do they really need to slam shut so fast?

I'm giving you a top grade for hard hats, though.

Re: Garbage compactor monster

It seems we have some sort of monstrous cephalopod called a dianoga living in the garbage compactor. I'm not going to point the finger at anyone over how this thing got in there in the first place but we should really look into removing it.

Re: More railing issues

Uh I was just looking over the plans for the optional Emperor Throne Room that may go into future death stars. I note there are some railings in the plans (finally!) but the railings are just high enough to trip over. I think the Emperor deserves better. Let's look into fixing that.

Re: Vent hole

Well you guys apparently are putting that hypermatter core in the center of the damned thing. I guess we can't change that now. But why do we have a two meter wide ventilation port that goes straight from the surface all the way to the reactor center? All it would take is someone well trained in shooting womp rats from a speeder to launch a torpedo down that hole and the whole freaking thing will go BOOM!

Re:  Warp core

I see that the decision was made to place the warp core right within the engineering spaces. This seems unwise. Maybe relocating the warp core to a less populated section of the new starship should be considered.

Don't even get me started on the boiler room.

Re: Doors in engineering

It seems we have a revolving door for a space in engineering that could become flooded with radiation. This seems like a bad idea. Someone entering the space to try and contain the leak would be unable to escape without flooding the entire compartment.

Re: Transporters
It seems someone introduced a virus with a USB device that caused the transporters to put penises on people's foreheads. We should look into ways to better secure the transporter computers. Also there may be an issue with the transporter killing the people that enter it and simply creating new life. We might want to ponder the philosophical implications.

Re: Holodeck
Um, it seems people are kicking around the idea of a holodeck again. If we do implement this I would recommend we make it very hard to turn off safety protocols with this device. It can, hypothetically, render actual bullets that could kill people.

And get my literally virtual girlfriend literally, virtually pregnant.

Re: Work shifts

I notice that the plan calls for one shift of people to do everything. Shouldn't there be like a night crew to man the bridge or something?

Re: Computer wiring

It has come to my attention that we have installed a type of direct line wiring so that a computer on the bridge will explode if the components or system it operates or monitors is damaged in another part of the starship. WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Re: Intern causalities

It seems that a number of level three interns (the guys in red shirts) have been disappearing lately while performing duties best reserved for others. As these are rather unprepared and untrained crew members I question the logic of including them in dangerous work. Hopefully this trend will end before actual deployment of the starships.
